       Happy New Year Caribbean Cruise

Departs December 29, 2008.

11 nights.  Welcome the New Year sailing the Southern Caribbean aboard the Emerald Princess.

Let’s celebrate the New Year!  How much fun to join other single and solo travelers for the holiday!  We’ll spend one night in Ft. Lauderdale and then 10 nights sailing the warm, beautiful Caribbean.  This itinerary goes deep into the Southern Caribbean so we’ll see some ports not usually visited in regular sailings.  Plus we’ll get to enjoy three sea days (one of them is New Year’s Day, so we can sleep in after the big night).

An airboat tour of the Everglades, private welcome reception, transfers to the ship and back to the airport plus the following ports of call are all included:  St. Kitts, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, and St. Thomas.

This extraordinary journey is for solo travelers – including single, attached with a “travel phobic” spouse or partner, or friends who want to explore together. Meet like-minded travelers and make new friends.  Avoid single supplement charges with our roommate match program, or if you prefer, single rooms are available.

Itinerary:

Monday, December 29

Arrive Miami, transfer on own to Royal Palm Hotel.  Private welcome reception for Seven Wonders Solos

Tuesday, December 30

We’ll tour Everglades National Park via airboats!  After seeing the alligators, crocodiles, birds of prey, and learning the history of this priceless ecological treasure, we’ll transfer to the Emerald Princess.  Bon voyage!

Wednesday, December 31

Princess Cays, a private island owned by Princess Cruise Lines for a beach party.  Tonight, kick up our heels for a grand New Year’s Eve celebration!

Thursday, January 1

At sea – thank goodness!  We’ll need to sleep in after last night.  Even if we don’t party too hearty – what an absolutely ideal way to greet a New Year.

Friday, January 2

St. Thomas.  It's the calm turquoise waters of the Caribbean that command attention in St. Thomas -- home to both pirates' legends and tropical fish for centuries. And there's no shortage of ways to explore the island.

Excellent duty-free markets make it one of the best places in the Caribbean to shop for local handicrafts and goods from around the world.

Saturday, January 3

St. Kitts. A lush tropical forest covers this Caribbean island, with the mist-enshrouded Mount Liamuiga at its center. St. Kitts is part of a tiny two-island independent state with Nevis, and natural preservation here is paramount, as their law states no building may be taller than the surrounding palm trees.

Sunday, January 4

Barbados.  A spectacular Caribbean getaway with plenty of British appeal and where cricket is still the national pastime. This tropical island nation offers awesome natural wonders, a fascinating and diverse history, and duty-free shopping beyond compare.

Monday, January 5

St. Lucia. The island of St. Lucia has dramatic coastlines that frame a setting of tranquility and natural beauty. Its people pride themselves in the care of their natural resources, which makes this an ideal environment for outdoor enthusiasts. Thriving coral reefs provide ample snorkeling and diving opportunities while the mountainous rain forest preserves offer superb hiking and bird watching.

Tuesday, January 6

Antigua. The coral reef that thwarted enemy ships is now a diver's paradise. The winding coastline, once difficult to navigate, is now miles of sandy, secluded beaches and coves. On shore and off, Antigua is one of the Caribbean's best islands for spectacular sand-and-sun fun.

Wednesday/Thursday, January 7-8

Sea days! Relax and enjoy.

Friday, January 9

Ft. Lauderdale.  Time to say goodbye.  Transfer back to Miami airport.

Price:

The price of the package is: $2,295 per person for inside stateroom; $2,795 per person for outside stateroom; $2,995 per person for balcony stateroom.  Fares are based on double occupancy.  Single supplement is available.  Single supplement cost is based on stateroom category.  Seven Wonders Club roommate match is available.  Please submit roommate match form with registration.
